Rep. Dan Griffey and fellow 35th District legislators Sen. Drew MacEwen and Rep. Travis Couture will hold a town hall meeting to discuss the upcoming Belfair Bypass on November 9th at the HUB in Belfair.
The long-awaited State Route 3 Freight Corridor, commonly referred to as the Belfair Bypass, will be a limited access 6-mile stretch of new highway providing an alternative travel route around Belfair. The 35th District lawmakers secured full finding for the project this session in addition to helping defeat a proposal from Gov. Jay Inslee that would have once again delayed construction.
The November town hall will also feature officials from the Department of Transportation, the project timeline, maps and visuals, and a question and answer session.
The meeting begins at 6 pm on November 9th at The HUB, 111 Northeast Old Belfair Highway, in Belfair.
